A519 Tubing Tolerances
When looking at A519 tubing tolerances, it is important to note that as compared to products of hot rolled steel, in the cold drawn process of A519 grade 4130, the A519 tubing will undergo a uniform tolerance for the ID, as well as for the OD. This results in the A519 tubing having an increased strength, as well as an enhanced machinability. A519 tubing is essentially a mechanical type of tubing and this is mainly selected for use, in applications where there is a demand for a smooth finish, certain very specific physical properties or close tolerances.
